Bishops Dallenbach and Wolfram Missionary Outreachers..... We have just had Halloween. There was not much
hallowed about it with not only pranks but actual poisonings, damage and
arsons. Here it is very different on that day. The whole population leaves
everything else and goes to the cemetery where they have loved ones, to pray
for the souls of the dead as well as to take flowers and fix up the grave. The
believers go also to pray for the souls of the living, often singing some
Gospel songs and giving testimonies of salvation or short Biblical sermons.
Since we are not far in our Gospel Tract Center form the largest cemetery in
the country many believers come by here to pick up tracts to give out there,
but not to Just give out, but we instruct them to use the tract as an opening
to witness personally. The people are very receptive. They have been thinking about death and
eternity anyway and usually welcome any short testimony on how to Know you are
Saved. How to be Saved and how to Know it, BEFORE you die. The tide of believers is still growing steadily in Guatemala, for which we
praise the Lord and thank all those who have remembered us and this field in
your prayers. Please pray for All the countries of Central America too, as Satan and the
communists have chosen this field as their key battleground for this decade. With the U.S. somewhat shackled and unable to neutralize the foreign
communist powers helping here, you already know why the U.S. is so shackled--
it might seem hopeless down here, but not so. The Battle is the Lord's. There
is nothing more powerful than earnest united prayer on the part of those who
