KEVIN BRENNAN
This is Rev. Brennan's twentieth
year of ministry as an Assemblies of God pastor. He has been involved in
ministry in churches in New York City, and for the past eight years has
been the Senior Pastor of Evangel Church in Scotch Plains, N.J. During
his time at Evangel Church, the church has doubled in size (to about 800)
and added a second service. He is a graduate of Evangel University, Springfield,
Missouri, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a minor in Greek. In 1985
he received the Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological
Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, and is currently finishing his
Doctor of Ministry degree in preaching from that same institution. Kevin
and his family reside in North Plainfield, New Jersey.

CRAIG KEENER
Craig Keener is professor
of New Testament at Eastern Seminary and author of ten books, including
the best-selling IVP Bible Background Commentary New Testament (InterVarsity,
over 100,000 in print) and A Commentary on the Gospel of Matthew (Eerdmans).
The former was the top-ranked biblical studies work in the 1995 Christianity
Today book awards; the latter, the top-ranked biblical studies work in
the 1999 Christianity Today book awards. Craig did his Ph.D. in New Testament
at Duke University and is one of the few white ministers ordained in the
nation's largest black denomination; he also has been ministering in West
Africa for the past three summers. His books most relevant to our seminars
are one, defending women's ministry and two, about the Holy Spirit.
BISHOP
DONALD HILLIARD
Dr.Hilliard is senior
pastor of the historic Second Baptist Church, Perth Amboy, NJ. Under his
leadership, the church has grown from 125 to over 4,500 members representing
the local international community. Dr. I-HILLIARD is Founder and CEO of
the Cathedral Community Development Corporation (CCDC), which is the umbrella
organization for many of the community development projects. He is Presiding
Bishop and Founder of the Covenant Ecumenical Fellowship and Cathedral
Assemblies, Inc., where he serves as spiritual advisor and mentor for many
Pastors and Churches across the United States and as far away as Nigeria,
West Africa. He is President of Millennium Ministries, Inc., and most recently,
established the Clergy Institute where innovative leaders from various
denominational backgrounds gather to confront and minister to various issues
faced daily by clergy.
Dr. Hilliard holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Eastern College, St. Davids, Pennsylvania; Master of
Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary; earned Doctorate of
Ministry degree from the United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio, where
he was mentored by the late Dr. Samuel D. Proctor. He is happily married
to Minister Phyllis Thompson Hilliard and father of three lovely daughters,
Leah Joy Alease, Charisma Joy Denise, and Destiny Joy Thema.

DR.
JOHN HUANG
Dr. Huang has distinguished
himself in the field of physics in both research and teaching careers.
Currently, Dr. Huang is a member of the Visiting Research Faculty of Princeton
university. He has also taught physics at Rutgers University and was a
Visiting Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh. For many years he conducted
research on behalf of Exxon Research and Engineering. He has received many
awards including Distinguished Visiting Scientist at University of Pittsburgh,
and the Max Planck Research Prize in Germany. Dr. Huang is a graduate of
National Taiwan University (B.S.) and Cornell University (PhD). He is married
to Dr. Helen Wu (PhD) and they have three children. His involvement in
various Christian ministries is extensive, including service on the Boards
of Ambassadors for Christ, China Mission, and Rutgers Community Christian
Church.

BRENT HAGGERTY
Rev. Brent Haggerty is senior
pastor for Alliance Bible Church of Warren, where he has served in this
position for three years. Prior to coming to Alliance Bible Church, he
spent ten years in the mission field of Burkina Faso, West Africa, and
served as youth pastor for three years in Willard, Ohio. Rev. Haggerty
received his BS in Missions from Nyack College, 1979, and Masters of Divinity
from Alliance Theological Seminary, Nyack, New York in 1983. He and his
wife, Susan, reside in Warren, NJ with their three children, Erin (16),
Tyler (14) and Lauren (12).

KEN BREWER
Ken Brewer has been teaching
at Zarephath Bible Institute for one year as Associate Professor of Bible
and Theology. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Spring Arbor College;
Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary; Master of Theology
from Princeton Theological Seminary; Master of Philosophy and Doctor of
Philosophy Degrees from Drew University;, and studied two years at University
of Tubingen in Germany. Ken is from Detroit, Michigan, and has been married
to Marcia Brewer for 18 years. They have two boys, Steve (11) and Greg
(7). He has served as pastor in the United Methodist Church for six years
in the Northern NJ Conference. |
