What the Bible Teaches
is a concise overall view of God's Word from Genesis to Revelation.
The author has ably brought to
our attention the fundamental doctrines, some of which have confused ministers
as well as laymen. He has proved by the Bible what we should know and believe
about such subjects as the Trinity, God's relationship to man, and man's
need for a Savior and Sanctifier.
In 1910 Rev. James McRobbie came
to America from Scotland seeking his fortune on this beautiful shore. He
found direction for his life while working in New York City when a Pillar
of Fire missionary gave him one of our magazines which he read from cover
to cover.

He then decided to go to the place
where this holiness magazine was published--namely to Zarephath, New Jersey.
Soon he obtained a spiritual experience which has guided him ever since.
After writing Two Hundred Bible
Lessons, at the age of eighty-eight he published What the Bible
Teaches.
For years Rev. McRobbie
has served the Lord as a minister and teacher of God's Word in the Pillar
of Fire. He has been a writer, radio broadcaster, business manager, and
even an auto mechanic. His hobbies are music, poetry, and gardening. In
the church he has filled important places throughout the United States
and England. In 1978 he returned to America and printed the first edition
of this book by himself in our Pillar of Fire printery in San Francisco.
to the Glory of God.

the Gospel well into his nineties.]
