S00#2
This is the first semester
of a two-semester introductory course in which the whole Bible is read
and placed in historical and theological context. A synthetic
approach is used, following the great themes which make the diverse books
of the Bible form a unified whole. The "scarlet thread" of the doctrine
of Salvation is traced from Genesis through Revelation.
Recommended for
new Christians and for those new to formal study of theology or the Bible.
This course and Hist 294, Bible Lands History and Geography, are also excellent
for Sunday School teachers, teachers in Christian schools, and individuals
who have lay ministries in the church.
