of civilization. A knowledge of the rise and fall of civilizations is

Mus 101-1 Musical Literacy
The purpose of this course is to provide a foundation for the student,
at any level, to better comprehend the fundamentals of music. This course,
using hymns as a tool, is designed to steer you in the direction
of musical literacy and give you the tools in which to further study and
enjoy music and the musical process.

Based on Edersheim’s Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah.
A valuable study of the bases of Christian faith and practice through
a study of Christ and His teaching. “From [seven continual years of] prodigious
study, [Edersheim] produced an unrivaled picture of the life of Christ
and of the whole Jewish background–not merely of the archaeological details,
but of the essential characteristics of Jewish thought and feeling. It
is today the most extensively used life of Christ in the English language.”
There
is nothing in Bible study more essential than a thorough and prayerful
investigation of the life of our Lord and Saviour.
