Celebration of Dr. Donald J. Wolfram's
sixty-five years in ordained ministry
February 25, 2001
Music has always been one of Dr. Wolfram's great
joys and part of his ministry. He plays numerous instruments including
trumpet, trombone, piano, bass viol, and flute; has directed and been a
member of church bands, orchestras, and vocal ensembles; and has composed
hymn tunes. At the celebration of his ministry, several other musicians
besides his family members offered musical tributes.
Carol Rae Carver sings a Pillar of Fire song,
"The Sea of Life." "Jesus speaks to my soul: 'Out on life's sea I will
never leave thee.'" Carol's late father, Rev. Ray Sharpe, was a pioneer
broadcast musician over KPOF. |
Belleview Community Chapel was represented
by this trio consisting of Jeanne Birch, Pastor Gary Dickinson, and Judee
Dickinson (who painted the lovely portrait of Dr. Wolfram) |
